The Firefox keyboard and mouse shortcuts listed here were originally based on the works of David Tenser but they have been fully rewritten, tested, and updated by Otto de Voogd of 7is7.com. The shortcuts related content contained on this page is available under the Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Creative Commons license. But that's not the best way to do it, since Firefox leaves all kinds of data on your hard drive besides the main application file. A better way is to use an application that's able to delete all Firefox information completely or simply reset the app, such as CleanMyMac. To reset the Firefox browser app on mac: Launch CleanMyMac.
FireFox supports Touch ID on iOS, but I suppose because the Touch Bar on the Macbook Pro will take a while to become the norm, I can understand why this has become low priority. Although, the convenience of the TouchBar is enough for users to Switch to Safari, so best FireFox add the capability before it bleeds Mac OS users. While touch event simulation is enabled, mouse events are translated into touch events; this includes (starting in Firefox 79) translating a mouse-drag event into a touch-drag event. (Note that when touch simulation is enabled, this toolbar icon is blue; when simulation is disabled, it is black.

I am running OSX 10.9 Maverick on a Macbook Pro . I observe this problem in Firefox 25.1 The scroll bars in any application window all dissapear after about a second. If you resize the window or select an item with subdirectories in a list, the scroll bar in the pane you are in reappears, but it does not dwell long enough to allow you to move a cursor over it. (What is the point of making it dissapear anyway?) Two finger scrolling does not work for some reason, using a function and direction key or just a direction key works to scroll only in some websites but not all of them. This little bit of cleverness, if intentional is both un-needed and dysfunctional.
