- Just bought an Marlin 99-M1 no serial number so with its features was made between 1966 to 1968. Has a carving in the stock of a squirrel similar in design and shape as the carving in the Cotter & Company (WestPoint) model 45's rabbit. So was this made for Cotter & Company any info would be appreciated.
- Ok, well, technically it may not be a Cal. 30 US M1 Carbine, but it is a collectible & hard to find Marlin 99-M1 Carbine in 22LR. It looks like these were made from 1964 - 1978 with this being a 74' model from Marlin Firearms of North Haven, Conn.
